Lifetime Earnings Will Determine The Order Of Preference Of Horses Entered. Weight; 121 Lbs. Certain Finishing Positions In This Race Will Earn Points To Qualify For The 2024 Kentucky Oaks, Pursuant To The Rules Published By Churchill Downs Incorporated. The Winner Of The Sunland Park Oaks Will Be Awarded 20 Points, The Second Place Finisher 10 Points, Third Place Finisher 6 Points And Fourth Place Finisher 4 Points. First Preference To Highest Earnings In A Graded Stakes, Second Preference To Highest Lifetime Earnings At Time Of Closing Nominations. This Race Will Be Limited To Twelve Starters. A Suitable Award Will Be Presented To The Winning Owner. After Payment Of 1% To All Owners Finishing Six Through Last, The Remaining Purse Will Be Distributed As Follows 60% To The Winner, 22% To Second, 10% To Third, 5% To Fourth, 3% To Fifth. Nominations Closed On Thursday, February 6, 2025 At 4:00 P.m. With Twenty Five.
