For Registered Quarter Horses, Two Years Old. Purse $14,000. Weight: 124 Lbs. Nomination And Sustaining Payments To Be Added To The Governors Stake Purse Of $125,000 Added. A 20% Marketing And Administration Fee Will Be Withheld From The Nomination And Sustaining Payments In All Open Quarter Horse Stakes Races. The Purse Will Be Divided 55% To The Winner, 20% To Second, 10% To Third, 5% To Fourth, 3% To Fifth, 2% To Sixth, 1.5% To Seventh And Eighth And 1% To Ninth And Tenth. The Top 10 Fastest Qualifiers In The Trials Will Remain Eligible To The Governors Stakes Final On Saturday, October 24, 2026. This Race Will Be Run As Many Times As Deemed Necessary. The Fields Will Be Limited To 10 Starters. If Less Than 14 Horses Enter Back Into The Trials, The Trials May Be Cancelled And Moved To A Final Stake On Saturday, October 24, 2026 With The Horses Having The Highest Lifetime Earnings Preferred.
