For Registered Quarter Horses, Two Years Old. Purse $14,000. Weight: 124 Lbs. By Subscription Of $250, Due July 1, With A $400 Sustaining Payment Due August 1, And An Additional $600 Sustaining Payment Due September 1. Supplementary Nominations May Be Made By September 1 For $1,900. Nomination And Sustaining Payments To Be Added To The Governors Stake Purse Of $100,000 Added. A 20% Marketing And Administration Fee Will Be Withheld From The Nomination And Sustaining Payments In All Open Quarter Horsestakes Races. The Purse Will Be Divided 55% To The Winner, 20% To Second, 10% To Third, 5% To Fourth, 3% To Fifth, 2% To Sixth, 1.5% To Seventh And Eighth And 1% To Ninth And Tenth. The Top 10 Fastest Qualifiers In The Trials Will Remain Eligible To The Governors Stakes Final On October 28. Assistant Starters Will Be Provided For The Competitors.
