Nonwinners Of A Graded Sweepstakes At A Mile Or Over In 2023 Allowed 2, Lbs. A Sweepstakes At A Mile Or Over Since March 9, Allowed 4 Lbs. Starters To Be Named Through The Entry Box By The Usual Time Of Closing. The Maximum Number Of Starters For The Ellis Park Derby Will Be Limited To Twelve (12) Starters. If More Than 12 Pass The Entry Box Preference To Start Will Be Given To Graded Stakes Winners (in Order I-ii-iii) Then Those Horses Having Accumulated The Highest Lifetime Earnings.
