Mourinho has done a good job to manage his minutes, and Zlatan has answered with some masterful displays of late. After all, there’s a reason why he won the Player Of The Month Award this past December.
In fact, according to WhoScored.com, Zlatan has netted 44% of Man Utd’s goals this year. He also ranks second in shots per game with 4.5, so the advanced stats like him as well. Casual and analytic fans alike can enjoy his performance so far this season.
The Red Devils haven’t had a striker as effective as Zlatan since the Ruud van Nistelrooy days. And the Swedish star has already said he wants to conquer England as quickly as possible. It’s likely he’ll accomplish his goal if he can keep up this form in the second part of the season.
