The Clippers Complete Their Collapse: NBA Playoff Recap for May 17

In a series where the Clippers were 6 points away from a game 2 win and a sweep, the Rockets have come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the series and advance to the Western Conference Finals. Los Angeles led by almost 20 in the third quarter of game 6 but gave away the rest of the game and couldn’t rally over a wire-to-wire Houston lead.

Houston jumped out to the early lead in the first quarter and it was a tight second quarter. The third quarter was owned by the Rockets while the fourth quarter was nearly even and the Rockets cruised to the win at home to push them into the Western Conference Finals. Houston was led by James Harden with 31 points, Trevor Ariza with 22 points, and Dwight Howard with 16 points, 15 rebounds. The Clippers were led by Chris Paul with 26 points, 10 assists, and DeAndre Jordan with 16 points, 17 rebounds.
