With only one game on the schedule, all eyes were turned to TNT for a clash of two of the favorites in the East. Unfortunately, only one team showed up.
Let’s get to the games:
Cleveland Cavaliers | 98 | (33-22)
Chicago Bulls | 113 | (34-20)
Final |
The Bulls last played on Tuesday, and it was the re-uniting of their starting five – a group that has recorded a 15-3 record when playing together. Come Tonight, however, Jimmy Butler’s absence meant we had more Chicago injury-woes, but the Bulls were dominant in their take-down of the Cavs at home. The Cavs seemed to simply be going through the motions, and without Kevin Love (who I would argue is the key to their rejuvenation) they looked like a totally different team. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 30, while Tony Snell (starting for the injured Butler) had 22. The Cavs were led by Lebron James with 31, while Kyrie Irving had 17 in the loss.
