Oh c’mon man, That’s my ball!

Battle at Bolton

It was another battle for Liverpool as a questionable second half PK put Liverpool down 1-0 and facing elimination from the FA cup. Two late goals from Sterling and Coutinho booked the Reds’ place in the next round and gave Liverpool fans a chance to finally exhale. Thankfully, Bolton’s Neil Danns was sent off in the 66th minute for 2 yellow cards (and they were both definitive bookable offenses). Bolton still had chances to put themselves up 2-0 after the red card, but Mignolet has continued his run of good form, which has definitely helped the Reds in all competitions. Up next in the FA cup is a trip to Crystal Palace on February 14th where the Reds will continue their push to get Gerrard to Wembley Stadium in his final season with the Reds.

Merseyside Derby

It’s Merseyside Derby time once again Red’s Fans! And with Sturridge putting in substitute performances over the past 2 weeks, it may be time to see him starting the game instead of coming off the bench. The game is at Goodison Park, and as usual, this one is going to be ugly. There’s definitely going to be a lot of emotion on the field this weekend, especially after police were denied their request to move this game earlier so fans wouldn’t be that drunk by kickoff. Request denied, commence pre-game binge drinking! This one is on at 12:30 EST in the States, so get your English lunch ready (no idea what they eat for lunch over there) because this one is going to be a battle.
