Curry is Too Much: NBA Playoff Recap for May 19

Despite an amazing performance from James Harden against Klay Thompson, Stephan Curry stole the show with multiple dagger three-pointers to finish with 34 points. Dwight Howard’s injury status will be a big story line heading into game two, but if nothing else we saw that Houston can play with Golden State and this series promises to be one of the best in recent memory.

Golden State ran out in the first and the Rockets were outscored in the second quarter. The second half started out close while the fourth quarter was nearly even. Golden State was led by Stephen Curry with 34 points, Shaun Livingston with 18 points, and Draymond Green with 13 points, 12 rebounds. The Rockets were led by James Harden with 28 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists, and Trevor Ariza with 20 points.
