In news no one ever thought they would hear, Bartolo Colon made an actual unassisted pickoff in today’s game against the Braves. A.J. Pierzynski was halfway between 1st and 2nd bases when Colon came running towards him. Pierzynski seems to have frozen in sheer terror as the 41 year-old, 285-pound pitcher lumbered towards him.
